Hildred (Anderson) Collins, 83
BRIDGEVILLE - Hildred (Anderson) Collins of Bridgeville died Tuesday, June 12, 2007, in Genesis Healthcare Center in Seaford. She was 83.
Mrs. Collins was born in Seaford, daughter of the late Charles W. and Essie (Willin) Anderson.
She had been employed by the DuPont Co. at the nylon manufacturing plant in Seaford for more than 30 years.
She was a member of the Union United Methodist Church and the Lioness Club, both in Bridgeville.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Collins was preceded in death by her daughter, Diane Willey in 1998.
She is survived by three grandsons, Lance Willey and wife, Bonnie of Laurel, Chris Willey and wife, Kim of Glouchester, Mass., and Clay Willey and wife, Kim of Greenwood; one sister, Virginia Kaye of Bridgeville; one brother, Charles Anderson Jr. of Greenwood; and six great-grandchildren, Jimmy, Stacey, Caleb, Joshua, Julian and Luke Willey.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday in Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Hardesty Chapel, 202 Laws St., Bridgeville, where the family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Pastor Tim Dukes will officiate at the services.
Interment will follow at Bridgeville Cemetery in Bridgeville.
Instead of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to the Bridgeville Lioness Club, c/o Ms. Connie Hartzell, 304 Laws St., Bridgeville, DE 19933.
