Helen B. Adams departed this life at Christiana Care, Newark, Del. on April 24, 2022.
Helen was born in Laurel, Delaware on April 22, 1937, the youngest of five children to the late Clarence and Katie Baker. In addition to her parents; she was preceded in death by husbands, Raymond Parsons, Charles Werner and Marvin Adams; as well as a brother, Edward Baker; and two sisters, Viola Kinnikin, and Mary Hearn.
Helen graduated from Laurel High School. Throughout her life she enjoyed many career paths before retiring from the Holden Dodge Dealership in Dover, Del. as office manager after many years of service. She enjoyed reading, doing crossword puzzles, playing bingo and putting puzzles together. Some of her favorite TV shows were on the Game Show Network, she also enjoyed watching the Cowboy Way. She had a bird feeder outside of her window and loved watching the many different birds as well as a couple of ornery squirrels as they ate from the feeder each day.
Helen leaves behind to cherish her memory a family that she loved with all her heart: three children, Sue Davis (Donnie), Ray Parsons (Cathy), Nancy Buckle (Darry); one brother, Elwood Baker (Barbara); seven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and many grand fur babies.
The family wishes to thank the staff at Cadia Capitol for taking such good care of Helen since last September. During her time there she made many friends among the staff and other residents. We would also like to thank the staff at Christiana Care for providing her the comfort she needed during her final days.
