MILFORD - It is with great sadness that we share the passing of Hazel Sapp Lemmon on November 2, 2014. Beloved wife of 61 years to John P. Lemmon; mother of Gayle L. Fuller, of Fairfax, Virginia, and Cheryl R. Lemmon, of Woodbridge, Virginia; son- in-law, Gordon Fuller; and Nannie to her precious grandchildren, Hannah and Andrew Fuller; nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and cousins survive. Hazel's life centered on her beloved family and wonderful friends. Her love of community service and volunteerism lead her to memberships in many clubs, organizations and work in her church. She was a member of the Milford New Century Club, the Milford Garden Club, a long time, board member of the Milford Bayhealth auxiliary, an officer of the Beta Master Sorority and an active member of Houston United Methodist Church. Over the years, John and Hazel traveled extensively including trips throughout the United States, Eastern Europe, Western Europe, Egypt, Canada, and numerous Caribbean islands. Memorial Service 11 a.m., Saturday, November 15, 2014 at the Houston United Methodist Church, 235 Broad St., Houston, DE 19954. Friends and family may call 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Houston United Methodist Church Broad Street, Houston, Delaware 19963. Interment will be held privately.
