Gladys (Craig) Wheeler, 100
DOVER - Gladys (Craig) Wheeler of Dover passed away peacefully Friday, Sept. 28, 2007, in State Street Assisted Living, Dover. She was 100.
Mrs. Wheeler was born Feb. 5, 1907, near Wyoming, daughter of the late George and Carrie (Virdin) Craig.
She was a homemaker.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Wheeler.
She is survived by a sister, Dorothy Marker of Dover; and several nieces and nephews, including Dorothy and Delmas Failing of Wyoming, Becky and George Walton of Magnolia, and Dickie and Marcia Wheeler of Odessa.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff of State Street Assisted Living who cared for Mrs. Wheeler the last eight years and also to VITAS Hospice who cared for her in her last months.
Services will be 2 p.m. Monday in Faries Funeral Chapel, 29 S. Main St., Smyrna, where friends may call one hour prior to the services.
