Gladys I. Holden, 72
MILFORD - Gladys I. Holden of Milford passed away Tuesday, Feb. 27, 2007, in Bayhealth-Milford Memorial Hospital. She was 72.
Mrs. Holden was born in Altoona, Pa., daughter of the late Albert and Thelma (Wertz) Irons.
She was a communication room supervisor for Wyeth Labs in Radner, Pa., for 40 years, retiring in 1998.
Mrs. Holden enjoyed floral arranging, computer games and reading.
She was a loving grandmother.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, John Irons and Bill Irons.
Her survivors include her husband of 15 years, H. Linwood Holden; two stepdaughters, Ruth Ann Webb and her husband Bill of Hartly and Deborah L. Holden of Canonsburg, Pa.; four grandchildren, Travis Webb, Megan Webb, Rebecca Webb and Devon Signorini; and two sisters-in-law, Doris Peltz and her husband John of Glen Holden, Pa., and Evelyn Ballinger and her husband Edward of Greenwood.
Funeral services will be Friday at 1 p.m. in the chapel of Berry-Short Funeral Home, 119 N.W. Front St., Milford, where friends may call after noon.
Burial will be in Barratt's Chapel Cemetery, Frederica.
