Gilbert J. Conrad

Gilbert J. Conrad, 75

MILLSBORO - Gilbert J. Conrad of Millsboro, formerly of Dundalk, Md., passed away Sunday, Sept. 9, 2007, in Beebe Medical Center, Lewes. He was 75.

He was born in Baltimore, son of the late Albert and Sophie (Miller) Conrad.

Mr. Conrad was a retired grocery store manager.

He was a veteran of the Korean War, serving with the U.S. Army.

Mr. Conrad was a member of the American Legion Post 28 of Oak Orchard.

He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Rosemary (DeAngelis) Conrad; three daughters, Michele Rix, Susanne Stewart and Maria Lenderking; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

A memorial Mass will be 11:30 a.m. Wednesday in the chapel of the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery South, 26669 Patriots Way, Millsboro.
