LINCOLN - Retired U.S. Air Force Sgt. George David "Pops" Jones passed away Wednesday, July 18, 2007, in Milford Memorial Hospital. He was 74.

Mr. Jones was born Feb. 19, 1933.

He loved talking trash to everyone.

Mr. Jones is survived by four sons, George Jones Jr. of Atlanta, David Jones of Dover, Eric Jones of Florida and Vincent Jones of Ohio; a loving former daughter-in-law, Sandra O"Hara-Jones of Lincoln; two loving grandchildren, Eric Jones Jr. and Erica Jones of Lincoln; a brother, Bill Jones of Rochester, Maine; and many grandchildren, nephews and nieces.

Burial will be private in Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Millsboro.

Instead of flowers, the family suggest contributions to help defray funeral expenses to Bennie Smith Funeral Home, 717 W. Division St., Dover, DE 19904.
