Franklin Edward Moss

MILFORD - Franklin Edward Moss, of Milford, formerly of Collingswood, N.J., passed away on June 25, 2011 at Bayhealth at Milford Memorial Hospital in Milford. He was 82. He was born in Westmont, N.J., the son of the late Edward Charles Moss and Maude (Fish) Moss. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving from 1952 to 1954. He was a model maker and pattern maker for ILC in Frederica for nine years. He was also a machinist for J.B. Industrial in Milford, and was quite a handyman. He enjoyed fishing, camping, swimming and gardening. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Joan Moss; four children, Gail Hull and her husband Dennis, Frank E. Moss and his wife Anna, Clark Moss and his wife Lynn and Peggy Jones and her significant other Timothy Nofftz; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and his pets, Bandit and Sunny. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, June 30, 2011 at 12 noon in the chapel of Berry-Short Funeral Home, 119 NW Front St., Milford, where friends may call Wednesday night from 6 to 8 p.m. Interment will be in Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Millsboro.
