Frank Marshall Reed, 71

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. - Frank Marshall Reed of St. Petersburg died Monday, Oct. 3, 2006, in St. Petersburg General Hospital. He was 71.

Mr. Reed was born Oct. 11, 1934, in Elkton, Md., and was raised in Earleville, Md.

As a young man, he moved to Rock Hall, Md., and in 1975, moved to St. Petersburg. He was a retired auto mechanic and body-and-fender repairman.

Mr. Reed enjoyed fishing and shooting pool.

He is survived by his parents, Gordon and Minnie Luthringer of Earleville; two sons and two daughters-in-law, Rickie and Ina Reed of Rock Hall, and Marty and Darlene Reed of Hurlock, Md.; three brothers, Eddie Reed of Laurel Hills, Kenny Reed of Baltimore and Butch Reed of Earleville; three sisters, Barbara Miller of Earleville, Joyce Scott of Middletown, Del., and Franny Biddle of Smyrna, Del.; three grandchildren, Jamie Reed, Samantha Reed and Mindi Reed; and two special friends, Bill Jamar and Debbie Whaland.

Memorial services will be 1 p.m. Saturday in the Galena Funeral Home of Stephen L. Schaech, 118 W. Cross St., Galena, where friends may call one hour earlier.

Burial will be in Zion Cemetery, Cecilton, Md.
