Frances Herb

Frances (Price) Herb, 82

LEWES - Frances (Price) Herb, of Lewes, formerly of Bechtelsville, Pa.. passed away peacefully Wednesday, May 7, 2008, at Beebe Medical Center, Lewes, surrounded by her loved ones. She was 82.

Mrs. Herb was born Aug. 24, 1925, in Green Lane, Pa., daughter of the late Martin and Katie (Myers) Price.

She retired in 1987 from the Harness House in New Berlinville, Pa., where she worked as an office clerk.

Mrs. Herb and her husband relocated to Lewes 12 years ago.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister and three brothers.

She is survived by her loving husband of 39 years, Robert W. Herb; four daughters, Patricia Martin of Red Hill, Pa., Marie Gresh of Bechtelsville, Helen Heydt and her husband Kenneth of Lewes and Florence Griffith of Lewes; 11 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and three sisters.

Services and interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 163, Salisbury, MD 21803.

Arrangements are being handled by Parsell Funeral Enterprises, Lewes.
