SEAFORD - Frances G. Ward, of Seaford, died on Friday, Nov. 11, 2011 at Delaware Hospice in Milford with her daughter by her side. Mrs. Ward was a devoted and loving wife, mother and grandmother. She belonged to many card clubs where she loved making people laugh. Mrs. Ward was a sales person for Peebles Department Store in Seaford for over 25 years. She was a member of Mt. Olivet United Methodist Church, where she was active in the Elizabeth Circle. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, George Ward; a daughter, Janice Spadafino and her husband Joe of Dover; a grandson, Nicholas Spadafino; and a sister, Alma Musser of Seaford. Funeral Services will be on Tuesday, Nov. 15th, 2011 at 2: p.m., at the CRANSTON FUNERAL HOME, 300 N. Shipley St, Seaford, where friends may call from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.. Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Laurel. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations may be made to Delaware Hospice Inc, 100 Patriots Way, Milford, DE 19963.
