Frances Eleanor Wise-McDonald

Frances Eleanor Wise-McDonald, 82

GREENSBORO, Md. - Frances Eleanor Wise-McDonald, of Greensboro, died Wednesday, Oct. 15, 2008, in Caroline Nursing Home in Denton. She was 82. She was born in Barclay on Dec. 4, 1925, the daughter of the late William and Mae Gray Thompson. Mrs. McDonald had been a seamstress at the Rob Roy Shirt Factory in Ridgely. She also drove for the Dept. of Aging, serving the elderly. She attended the Greensboro Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, James C. Wise in 1955; and her second husband, Anon D. McDonald in 2008. She is survived by two sons, Larry J. Wise of Woodbridge, Va., and Victor Wise of Greensboro; a daughter, Shirley Hunter of Ridgely; a brother, Samuel Thompson of Salisbury; two sisters, Lula Satterfield of Sudlersville and Beatrice Hurd of Milford, Del.; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, in Fleegle and Helfenbein Funeral Home, 106 W. Sunset Ave., Greensboro. Visitation will be held at the Funeral Home, one hour before the service.
