Frances E. Fleetwood

Frances E. Fleetwood, 65

SMYRNA - Frances E. Fleetwood, of Smyrna, passed away Thursday, Feb. 26, 2009, in Bayhealth-Kent General Hospital. She was 65. Mrs. Fleetwood was born July 27, 1943, in Wilmington, the daughter of the late George and Edwina Nuttall Kraus. She enjoyed volunteering with the 4-H Club and was very active in their annual Teddy Bear Drive. Mrs. Fleetwood also enjoyed volunteering for the Ladies Auxiliary at the Delaware Hospital for the Chronically Ill in Smyrna and helping other patients with their daily needs. Her favorite hobbies were playing Scrabble, shopping and going to the movies. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Norma Durham; a grandson, Ryan Dangler; and a sister, Virginia Jacobs. She is survived by her husband, Paul Fleetwood; three daughters, Cathy Webster of Felton, Florence deMontigny of Dallas, Texas, and Donna Dangler of Indiana; four grandchildren, Jeffery Fleetwood, Joshua Azores, Matthew Durham, and Melissa Fleetwood; two great- grandchildren; and her extended family at the Delaware Hospital for the Chronically Ill. Memorial services will be 2 p.m. Thursday, March 5, in the Auditorium of the Delaware Hospital for the Chronically Ill, 100 Sunnyside Road Smyrna.
