Florene Kittles, 93
SMYRNA - Florene Kittles of Smyrna departed this life Thursday, Feb. 22, 2007, in the Delaware Hospital for the Chronically Ill, Smyrna.
She was born Nov. 19, 1913, in Savannah, Ga., daughter of the late William and Lucy Green.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Isreal Kittles.
Florene leaves to cherish her memory a daughter, Laura Holder of Seaford; a special granddaughter, Denise Williams of Bridgeville; four sisters, Lillie Bell Cutts of New York, Ruth Shields of South Carolina and Doretha Shields and Elizabeth Nelson, both of New Jersey; three brothers, Enes Green of Bridgeville, Mitchel Green of New Jersey and Luke Green of Florida, nine great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; eight great-great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday in Bennie Smith Funeral Home, where friends may view two hours prior.
Burial will be private.
