Florence Jane Willey

GREENWOOD - Mrs. Florence Jane Willey passed away on Sunday, June 3, 2018, at Kent General Hospital, Dover. Mrs. Willey was born in Centreville, Md. to the late J. Frederick and A. Jane Walls.
Mrs. Willey resided in Greenwood the majority of her life, where she was a longtime active member of the Greenwood United Methodist Church and a faithful reader of religious material. She was devoted to friends and family, and visiting was her favorite past time. Her faith was unsurpassed as she expressed immense optimism in reaching the afterlife. She will be remembered for the unending love always expressed to family who, while missing her greatly, take heart in knowing her place in heaven.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert C. Willey; brother's, Calvin, Paul, Orville, William, Robert, twin Lawrence Walls.
She is survived by daughter, Ruth Emmalea Draper Cessna; granddaughter, Carrie Jane Draper Garey and husband John Roland Garey; great-grandson, Wyeth Louis Roland Garey; sister, Ruth Knotts; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Services will take place at Fleischauer Funeral Home, 16 West Market St., Greenwood, on Saturday, June 9, 2018 at 11 a.m. with visitation one hour prior. Interment will be at Saint Johnstown Cemetery, in Greenwood.
Arrangements are by Fleischauer Funeral Home, Greenwood.
