NEW CASSTLE - Florence E. Landis passed away Wednesday, July 18, 2007, in her home. She was 99.
Mrs. Landis was a talented homemaker. She enjoyed sewing and crocheting and was an excellent cook.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Norman Landis in 1962; a son, Vernon Jones in 1996; a grandson, Norman Jones in 1985; and a brother, Lawrence Bailey in 2006.
She is survived by a brother, Oscar Bailey of Georgetown; her sisters, Sylvia Williamson of Lincoln, Bessie Christopher of Seaford, Hazel Dickerson of Milton; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service and burial will be private.
