CAMDEN - Faythe T. Brown passed away Saturday, January 15, 2022, at Kent General Hospital.
She was born November 27, 1954, in Wilmington, Del. to the late Herbert Adelpha Chapman and Jeanne Marie Doherty.
Mrs. Brown grew up in Dover and graduated from Dover High School. She proudly served in the U.S. Navy from 1987-1988. Worked at Hardee's for a short while. Mrs. Brown was very involved in Special Olympics and loved spending time with the students at Charlton School. Solitaire was her favorite pass time, she also enjoyed ARC activities. She was a volunteer at the Commissary for eight years, where she made many friends.
In addition to her parents; she was preceded in death by her sister, Judith Ann Thompson.
Mrs. Brown is survived by her loving husband of 29 years, Gary L. Brown; children, Kelly Jo Brown of Rehoboth Beach, Marshall Lee Brown (Danielle Hansen) of Millsboro, Pamela Grace Brown of Camden; brother, Herbert Adelpha Chapman, Jr.; sister, Trish Doherty of Pennsylvania; and two grandsons, Roland, and Knox Brown.
Services will be private.
