WILMINGTON - On Sunday, Jan. 21, 2007, Faith Queman of Wilmington moved between the realms, this time for good.
Faith was an oracle, a healer and a celebrationist. She loved teatime and brilliant sharing. She was playful. She was a peacemaker; a builder of community. She lived ethically and honestly. She was a foster parent. She founded the Temple of Woman Spirit. She was a writer and a lovely artist. She was a blessing. She was Faerie.
She was a planter of seeds and watered those seeds with love and caring. She was an activist and lobbyist. She was a defender, especially of women and children, demanding an end to domestic violence. She was radical and ardent, protesting especially for peace, and died on probation for an act of civil disobedience. She was a comfort and care giver. She was a visionary. She was a feminist. She was stubborn. She was outspoken and thoughtful. She wore purple.
A memorial is planned for Feb. 3 with a location to be announced. For information, e-mail TempleOfWomanSpirit@yahoo.com or call Torbert Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Temple of Woman Spirit, 502 W. 34th St., Wilmington, DE 19802 are suggested.
