SEAFORD - F. Ruth Bird, 89, of Seaford, died on Friday, June 24, 2011. Mrs. Bird retired from the Nanticoke Memorial Hospital. She was an active member of Grace Baptist Church. Her husband Andrew Dunn died in 1972 and her husband James F. Bird died in 1999. She is survived by two sons, Ken Dunn and his wife Diane of Georgetown, and Larry Dun and his wife Nancy of Clayton; one daughter, Linda Birch and her husband Paul of Seaford; six grandchildren, Jonathan Birch, Jamie Willey, Amanda Stewart, Jason Cunningham, Pam Shockley and Sandra Shockley; and five great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by two grandchildren, Andy Dunn and Bobby Cunningham. Funeral Services will be on Saturday, July 2nd at 11 a.m. at Grace Baptist Church, 805 Atlanta Rd, Seaford. Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery.
