DOVER - Evelyn Seacord Cannon passed away Friday, Jan. 18, 2008, in Courtland Manor Nursing and Convalescent Home, Dover.

She was born in Dover in the early 1920s and was raised by the Elizabeth W. Murphey School for Children, which prepared her for a lifelong career in pediatric nursing at Bayhealth-Kent General Hospital, Dover.

Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband, Franklyn Wesley Cannon; and her son, Jack Seacord.

She leaves to cherish her memory her sister, Betty; three sons, Franklyn, Gary and Richard; three daughters, Connie, Brenda and Peggy; four generations of siblings; and numerous friends and coworkers.
