LINCOLN - Evelyn K. Morse passed away at home, on Monday, November 22, 2021. She was the daughter of the late James and Marion Stephenson.
Mrs. Morse, retired from nursing in 2003, where she greatly enjoyed working in the Intermediate Care at Bayhealth Sussex Campus. Mrs. Morse was a member of the Harrington VFW, Harrington Moose Lodge #534, and former member of the American Legion.
Mrs. Morse enjoyed fishing, traveling with her late husband, Bill, cooking, gardening, and jigsaw puzzles. She was devoted to her family, gave the best hugs in the world, and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
In addition to her parents; Mrs. Morse was preceded in death by her husband, William Morse, Jr.; grandsons, TJ and Steven Martin; siblings, Virginia McCue, John Stephenson, James Stephenson, George Stephenson, Harold Stephenson, Betty Buchiet, and Emily Smith.
Mrs. Morse is survived by her children, Jimmy Martin (Billie Michelle Johnson), Jerry Martin (Paula), Wanda Mace (Charles), and Donald Martin (Madonna); 11 grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and extended family.
A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, November 29, 2021 at Thomas E. Melvin & Son Funeral Home, Inc., Harrington, at 12 p.m. A visitation will take place one hour prior starting at 11 a.m. Interment will be private.
Due to the cold, donations can be made to your favorite charity in Mrs. Morse's honor, in lieu of flowers.
