Evelyn Finney, 60
DOVER - Evelyn Finney passed away on Monday, July 26, 2021. She was born February 10, 1961 in Accomack County, Va., grew up in Felton, Del., and graduated from Lake Forest High School.
She was a hard worker, working at Pinnacle Rehabilitation and Health Center as a CNA, and at Walmart Supercenter as a Sales Associate. She provided for her family, often working two or three jobs. Evelyn gave her life to Christ and was proud to be a Christian.
She is survived by her mother, Josephine Finney; two sisters, Joanne (Pete, deceased) Wilson and Sally (Vernon) Cooper; two sons, Anthony D. Harmon Jr. (wife, Cynthia Harmon), and Kevin R. Finney; also, one daughter, Sonya D. Harmon. She also leaves to cherish her memory her grandchildren, Shayela R. Harmon, Kassaundra E. Harmon; step grandchildren, Akilah Schoonmaker, Aliyah Schoonmaker, and Isaiah Schoonmaker; and a great-grandchild, Theodore D. Comedy. Also survived by several cousin, nieces and nephews.
Friends and family will be received from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, July 31, in Pippin Funeral Home Inc., 119 W. Camden Wyoming Avenue, Wyoming, DE 19934.
