Phillips Link, 87 MILFORD - Ethel Starkey Phillips Link, passed away peacefully, at Delaware Hospice in Milford, with her family by her side. Born in Harrington, on October 24, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Fleming and Clara Robinson Starkey. She attended and graduated from Harrington High School, Class of 1942. While she and herfamily were residents of Federalsburg she and her family were members of Christ United Methodist Church. Besides the great love she had for her family, she also enjoyed butterflies and lighthouses. She is survived by one son, Richard Phillips and his wife Kristine, of Milford; four grandchildren, Denise Swain and her husband Josh, of Milford, Christine Jacobs and her husband Craig, of Boothwyn, Pa., Daniel C.A. Phillips, of Milford, and Brittany Phillips, of Milford; four great-grandchildren, Madison and Justin Swain and Claire and Camille Jacobs; sister, Doris McIlvain and her husband Kenneth, of Bridgeville; and one son-in-law, Walter L. Breeding, Jr., of Frederica. She was preceded in death by two husbands, W. Allen Phillips, the father of her children who passed away November 6, 1969, and her second husband, Daniel V. Link Jr., passed away in 1993; and her only daughter, Gloria Breeding, who passed away on April 18, 2007. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, July 10, 2012, at Williamson Funeral Home, 311 South Main Street, Federalsburg, MD., with Pastor Paul Isaacs of Calvery United Methodist Church officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the funeral service. Interment will be in Hillcrest Cemetery in Federalsburg, MD.
