Erma Jean Frazier

Erma Jean Frazier, 85

DOVER - Erma Jean Frazier, of Dover, died on Saturday, March 15, 2008, at Bayhealth-Kent General Hospital, Dover, of respiratory failure. She was 85.

She was born in Sligo, Pa., on Jan. 29, 1923, to the late Emmet and Deessie (Eberheart) McFadeen.

Mrs. Frazier was an army nurse during World War II with the rank of second lieutenant in the Army Nurse Corps.

She enjoyed being a homemaker and crossword puzzles, soap operas and traveling.

Mrs. Frazier was preceded in death by her husband, Retired Master Sgt. Walter R. Frazier III in 1987; and a granddaughter, Ashley Frazier-Johnson.

She is survived by her son and his wife, Wally R. and Cheryl Frazier of Dover; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Friends may call on Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. in the Trader Funeral Home, 12 Lotus St., Dover.

Burial will be private at the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Millsboro.
