Eptha R. 'Rose' Roe, 85
FELTON - Eptha R. "Rose" Roe, of Felton, passed away at home, on Saturday, March 6, 2021.
Rose loved people, she enjoyed working with disadvantaged people and seniors. She enjoyed her job as director of the MANNA food program, partnered with the Harrington Senior Center. Though a great cook, Rose enjoyed going out to dinner and coffee just to socialize.
When Rose wasn't working or socializing over food, she enjoyed playing cards, and listening to Elvis Presley. In her younger years, Rose and her beloved late husband, George, won a competition for dancing the Jitter Bug. She liked to enjoy Dolles caramel corn as well as Thrasher fries whenever she visited the beach. When Rose loved, she loved deeply, and she loved her family.
Rose was preceded in death by the love of her life, George E. Roe.
Rose is survived by her daughter, Kim Knaub (Russell); son, Tim Roe (Deneen); sister, Marietta Johnson; seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
