Emma Lamb, 83
VIOLA - Emma Lamb, of Viola, passed away Thursday, April 10, 2008, at Silver Lake Nursing Home, Dover. She was 83.
Mrs. Lamb was born in Greensboro, Md., the daughter of the late Henry and Elsie Seward.
She worked as a home health aide for Geriatric Services of Delaware for more than 20 years.
She enjoyed gardening, planting flowers, attending yard sales and auctions.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bill G. Lamb, in 2006; and several brother and sisters, Billy, Henry, Blanche, Ida, and Jeanette.
She is survived by five children, Terry and Jowana Lamb of Viola, Bill G. Lamb Jr. of New Jersey, Elden Turnell and his fiancee Janice Lane of Milford, Marvin and Phyllis Turnell of Federalsbug, Md., and Ellen and Buddy Thorpe of Viola; 12 grandchildren, Jenna Lamb, Tracy Lamb, Sammy Turnell, Elden Turnell, Mike Turnell, Teresa Sartin, Rose Mann, Crystal Bassett, Robert Thorpe III, Marveta Turnell, Heart Turnell and Connie Dukes; one brother, Charles Seward of Ohio and Florida; and two sisters, Louise Bowdell of Hartly and Sissy Tolson of Templeville, Md.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Millsboro. There will be no calling hours.
