Elvira M. Gadaleta, 89

SMYRNA - Elvira M. Gadaleta of Smyrna died peacefully Sunday, Jan. 7, 2007, in Green Valley Pavilion Nursing Home, Smyrna. She was 89.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Vito Gadaleta; and a son, Charles Lobosco.

She is survived by a daughter, Charlotte (Rudolph) Caronia of Las Vegas; three grandchildren, Daniel, Celeste and Charles, all of Las Vegas; three great-grandchildren, all of Las Vegas; the Gadaleta family who lovingly looked after her and Mr. Gadaleta after they moved to Delaware, a nephew and his wife, Cosmo and Kathy Gadaleta of Middletown; a brother and a sister-in-law, Michele and Angela Gadaleta of Smyrna; a sister-in-law, Marie Gadaleta of New Jersey; and a host of nieces, nephews, greatnieces and greatnephews who will miss her.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be 2 p.m. Friday in St. Polycarps Church, 135 Ransom Lane, Smyrna, where friends may call an hour earlier.

Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Dover.

Arrangements by Daniels and Hutchison Funeral Home LLC, Middletown.
