FRANKFORD - Elizabeth E. Harper, of Frankford, died peacefully Wednesday, Oct. 11, 2006, in her home. She was 92.
She was born in Rehoboth Beach, daughter of the late Oliver and Effie Mitchell.
Mrs. Harper was a homemaker, school bus driver and poultry farm owner.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Frank H. Harper; three brothers, Leonard Mitchell, Charles Mitchell, and Frank Mitchell; and a sister, Pearl Quillen.
She is survived two daughters, Hazel Ragni of Georgetown and Betty J. Rogers of Frankford; six grandchildren, Dwight Hastings and Alan Hastings, Tina Lofland, Richard Bunting and Ronald Bunting, and Denice Powell; 17 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great-grandchildren; a brother, Lewin Mitchell of Rehoboth Beach; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday in the chapel of Melson Funeral Services, Thatcher Street, Frankford, where friends may call one hour earlier.
Burial will follow in Blackwater Cemetery, Frankford.
Instead of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to Delaware Hospice Southern Division, 20167 Office Circle, Georgetown, DE 19947.
