Elizabeth Barclay

CAMDEN - Elizabeth Barclay "Betty Ann" passed away, Tuesday, Oct.16, 2018 at home.
Mrs. Barclay was born June 8, 1938 in Newark, N.J. to the late Charles Albert Bunting and Jessie Scullion Bunting. She met her late husband James Barclay "Jimmy" at the age of 13 and married him in 1957. After their marriage they moved to Jersey City and then South Amboy.
She owned a Christian Book Store "Gifts of Grace" in Howell, N.J. Mrs. Barclay loved to be surrounded by her family and friends. She was a fun and loving woman who cherished her faith.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, James in 1994; sons, Robert, David and Charles Barclay.
She is survived by her children, Kathleen Bassett (John) of Camden and son, William Barclay (Natalie) of E. Brunswick, N.J.; brother, Carl Bunting (Dorothy) of Pennsville, N.J.; sister, Alice Giffin (Jack) of Parlin, N.J.; six grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Services will be private.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions be made to Compassionate Care Hospice, 248 E. Chestnut Hill Rd., Suite 4, Newark, DE 19713.
