Elizabeth Ann Maugle

DOVER - Elizabeth Ann Maugle, of Dover, died Saturday, Feb. 12, 2011, at Kent General Hospital. She was 64. Mrs. Maugle was born July 3, 1946, in Norristown, Pa., to the late Herbert F. Mayall and Elizabeth Weaver Mayall. She retired after 16 years Civil Service as executive assistant to the squadron commander as a military personnel technician. Mrs. Maugle had also worked for 10 years at Dover Downs Casino as a teller. She enjoyed basket weaving and watching the Philadelphia Phillies. She was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church, Dover, and Eucharistic Minister. Mrs. Maugle is survived by her husband of 22 years, George H. Maugle of Dover; son, W. Paul Adkins of Magnolia; daughters, Sharon Moore of Newport News, Va., and Debbie M. Baker of Magnolia; grandchildren, Stephanie, Aaron, Kyle, Cody, Tyler, Jacob, Austin, and Ryan; and her husband's five children and six grandchildren. Memorial Mass will be 1 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 16, 2011, at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 631 S. State Street, Dover, DE 19901. Interment will be in Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to the National Kidney Foundation, 30 East 33rd Street, New York, NY 10016. Letters of condolence may be sent, and guestbook signed at www.torbertfuneral.com.
