Eleanor M. 'Elea' Rouse, 77
FEDERALSBURG, Md. - Eleanor M. "Elea" Rouse of Federalsburg died Friday, Nov. 17, 2006, in her home. She was 77.
Mrs. Rouse was born Oct. 2, 1929, in Rochester, N.Y., daughter of the late Walter E. and Olive G. (Little) Lambe.
She retired from Black & Decker after 27 years of service. She worked in the kitchen at Caroline Nursing Home in Denton for four years, and also worked for the Caroline County Board of Education for 10 years as a school-bus driver.
Mrs. Rouse was a member of AARP and the Widowed Persons Service, which met in Seaford.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Rouse, March 6, 1993; three sons, James Robin Rouse, Donald W. Rouse and Roy W. Rouse, a sister, Gertrude A. Miller; several nieces; and a nephew.
She is survived by a son and a daughter-in-law, John L. and Patti Rouse of Crisfield; two daughters and two sons-in-law, Sandy and Gary Bilbrough of Secretary, and Mary E. and David Sellers of Denton; three grandchildren, Amy Wilson, Courtney Rouse and John Rouse Jr.; and three great-grandchildren, Michael, Dustin and Amber.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in Framptom Funeral Home P.A., Federalsburg.
Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday in the funeral home, where friends also may call one hour earlier. The Rev. Ray Parsons will officiate.
Burial will be in Maryland Eastern Shore Veterans Cemetery, Hurlock.
