Edward Thomas Fischer, 67
HARRINGTON - Edward Thomas Fischer of Harrington died Friday, Aug. 10, 2007, in his home. He was 67.
He was born April 18, 1940, in Philadelphia, son of the late Joseph and Helen (Swaverly) Fischer.
Mr. Fischer was a cargo technician as a civilian contractor for the Dover Air Force Base for 17 years, retiring in 1982.
He also owned race horses.
Mr. Fischer is survived by his wife, Sharon; two sisters, Helen Iverson and Doris Cardona, both of Pennsylvania; two brothers, Robert Fischer of Virginia, and William Fischer of Florida; a godson, Mark Cardona of Pennsylvania; several nieces and nephews; special people who know who they are and his caregivers; and a special cat, Mr. Friskie.
A memorial service will be noon Saturday at the Independent Bible Fellowship Church, Del. 14, Harrington, where friends may call from 11:30 a.m. until the time of the service.
Burial will be private.
Arrangements are by Pippin Funeral Home, Wyoming.
