MIDDLETOWN - Edna R. Douglas of Middletown, passed away on Thursday, April 26, 2007, at the Christiana-Care Christiana Hospital, Newark. She was 85.
Mrs. Douglas was a homemaker and had worked at Berkman"s Variety Store in Middletown.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles F. Douglas in 1994; her parents, Delbert and Anna Nabb; and a sister, Elizabeth Taylor.
Mrs. Douglas is survived by her son, with whom she lived, Kevin S. Douglas of Middletown; a granddaughter, Jenna W. Douglas of Cincinnati; one sister, Helen Collins of New Castle; and two brothers, Alfree Nabb, and Charles Nabb and his wife, Francis, all of Middletown; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Services will be private.
Instead of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the Middletown-Odessa Rotary Scholarship Fund, P.O. Box 201, Middletown, DE 19709.
