Edgar W. Souva, 76 FELTON - Edgar W. Souva, of Felton, died Monday, April, 5, 2010, in Bayhealth-Kent General Hospital, Dover. He was 76. He was born in Carthage, N.Y., to the late Leo A. and Mildred Souva. Mr. Souva was a farmer for the biggest part of his life. After he quit farming, he worked for San-Del for 22 years spraying crops, a job he thoroughly enjoyed. In his spare time, he enjoyed watching NASCAR and sports. His favorite driver was Kasey Kahne, and his favorite teams were the Yankees, and Syracuse University Basketball. He will be remembered as a good man who liked to have fun. He enjoyed friends and family and looked forward to picnics and get togethers. He was very good to his companion, Martha, and they were together constantly. He will be truly missed. He was preceded in death by his wife, Georgia Souva. He is survived by his long time companion of 33 years, Martha Mae Johnson of Felton; sons, Guy G. Souva of Greenwood, Terry L. Souva of Lowville, N.Y., and Jeffrey K. Souva of Copenhagen, N.Y.; daughters, Cherie M. Wingo of Greenwood, Deanna D. Moore of Big Stone Gap, Va., and Renee S. Henkle of Atlanta, Ga.; sisters, Helen Leddy of Philadelphia, N.Y., and Eleanor Robbins of Worchester, Mass.; 11 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be 1 p.m., Saturday, April 10, in Melvin Funeral Home, 15522 South DuPont Hwy., Harrington, where a visitation will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday. Interment will be in Hopkins Cemetery, Felton.
