Earl F. Ritter

MILTON - Earl F. Ritter passed away on Monday, May 16, 2016 at Delaware Hospice Center, Milford. He was born in Lewes, on Sept. 23, 1931 son of the late Earl J. and Reba Carey Ritter. Mr. Ritter graduated from Lewes High School class of 1952 and served in the US Air Force. He owned and operated the Overbrook TV Shop in Milton prior to retirement. His son John Earl Ritter preceded him in death. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Helen Hays Ritter; and two daughters, Yvonne Millman and husband Billy, and Julie Ritter; one brother, James Ritter; and two sisters, Irene Makara and Ruth Anne McMahon; also five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on Friday, May 20, 2016 at 1 p.m. in the chapel of Short Funeral Services, 416 Federal Street, Milton. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Delaware Hospice, 100 Patriots Way, Milford, Delaware, 19963.
