GREENWOOD - Dugald MacDonald "Toady" passed away on Friday, June 29, 2018, at the Nanticoke Memorial Hospital in Seaford.
Born in Hickman, Md., Mr. MacDonald was the son of the late John MacDonald and Evelyn Torbert MacDonald. He was a 1946 graduate of Caroline High School in Denton. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He then was a heavy equipment operator for road construction for 33 years at the Tilcon Co. in Dover.
Mr. MacDonald is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Ann MacDonald; a daughter, Kimberley Price of Greenwood; two granddaughters, Kizzie Blockston of Greenwood and Beth Kehs of Severn, Md.; and a great granddaughter, Savannah Wilkerson; three sisters, Jeanette Cohee of Preston, Md., Evelyn Collins of Harrington and Isabelle Kreigh of Milford. He was predeceased by a son, Randal J. "Dugal" MacDonald; three brothers, Robert MacDonald, Alex MacDonald, and Malcom MacDonald; and two sisters, Beatrice Johnson and Marjorie Bryant.
A memorial service will be held at 12 p.m. on Friday, July 6, 2018 at the Moore Funeral Home, P.A. in Denton where friends may visit with the family for one hour prior to the service. Dr. Christian Jensen will officiate. The interment will follow at 1 p.m. in the MD Eastern Shore Veterans Cemetery in Hurlock, Md.
