Dr. Elaine Davis Wright passed away quietly after a long battle with Alzheimer's. Elaine lived her life to the fullest, devoted to her family, friends, faith and dedication as a Professor of Anatomy and Physiology. She was a graduate of Wake Forest University and earned her Doctoral degree at the University of Northern Colorado in Greely Colo. Originally from Dover, Del., she moved to Mesa, Az. in the early part of 2002 to be closer to her son and granddaughter. She was preceded in death by her parents, W.G. Davis and Helen C. Davis. Elaine is survived by her son, John D. Wright Jr; granddaughter, Emily N. Wright; and sister, Susanne Davis Forsman. As a mother, grandmother and sister she has been sorely missed for quite a long time now and has finally been given the freedom to join her parents in heaven. We will all miss her so much but are joyful that she is finally at peace. We love you very much mom. Instead of flowers the family is requesting that donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association at www.alz.org. Arrangements made with Melcher Mortuary Mission Chapel, Mesa, AZ.
