Douglas W. Brockway, 64
LEWES - Douglas W. Brockway of Lewes died of cancer Saturday, Feb. 24, 2007, in his home surrounded by his loving family. He was 64.
Mr. Brockway was a retired insurance broker for Metropolitan for more than 40 years. He owned and operated T-Tops for Boats in Lewes.
He enjoyed spending time with his family and grandchildren and also enjoyed fishing and hunting.
He was preceded in death by his father, Leonard; and his son, Douglas Brockway.
He is survived by his mother, Dorothy Brockway; a daughter and a son-in-law, Missy and John Walls; two sons, Matthew Brockway and Jeremy Brockway; a brother and a sister-in-law, the Rev. Richard and Donya Brockway; three grandchildren, Sarah, Zachariah and Jedadiah and his special friend, June Betts; and many cousins and friends.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. today in the Long Neck Chapel of Melson Funeral Services, Long Neck Road, Millsboro.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday in the funeral home.
Burial will be in Henlopen Memorial park Cemetery, near Milton.
Instead of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to the Long Island Teen Challenge, P.O. Box 1155, West Babylon, N.Y. 11704.
