WILLOW GROVE - Dorothy L. Dolbow, of Willow Grove, passed away Friday, Feb. 22, 2008, at Silver Lake Center, Dover. She was 81.
Dorothy was born in Lynn, Mass., daughter of the late Charles W. and Viola (Dorman) Lovell.
She was a homemaker and enjoyed caring for her family.
Dorothy loved baseball and was a serious Orioles fan. She also enjoyed growing indoor plants, watching birds and playing games and cards, especially cribbage and pinnacle.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George H. Dolbow Sr.; son, Bruce Edward Dolbow; daughter, Cherylyn Rae Dolbow; two grandsons, Michael Brown and Mark Harris II; and two sisters, Sandra Everett and Nancy Overmyer.
Her survivors include five children, William Dolbow, Dorothy Ottinger, Sue Brown and George H. Dolbow Jr. and wife Wanda, all of Camden, and Kathie Harris and husband Mark of Ellendale; 10 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and a sister, Eileen Dunn of Dover.
A funeral service will be 1 p.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Berry-Short Funeral Home, Main Street, Felton, where friends may call after noon.
Burial will be in Sharon Hills Memorial Park, Dover.
