CHESTERTOWN, Md. - Doris Shea, of Chestertown, died on Friday, March 28, 2008, in Chester River Hospital Center, Chestertown. She was 87.

She was born in Washington, D.C., on Oct. 23, 1920, the daughter of the late James Edward and Hannah Dora Baumann Shea.

Mrs. Shea worked with the CIA as an administrative assistant for 35 years retiring in 1976.

She moved from Hyattsville to Chestertown and spent many winters at her home in Florida.

A 30-year member, she was active with Trinity Lutheran Church, the Women's Guild, and the A.A.L., she was also a member of the Worton Senior Citizens Group the Homemakers Group, and arRecorder with AARP.

Mrs. Shea enjoyed traveling both in her younger years and with the senior groups.

She is survived by a sister, Margaret Zapalski of Chestertown; a brother, John Richard Shea of St. Petersburg, Fla.; and a nephew and several nieces.

Services will be noon Monday in Trinity Lutheran Church, Chestertown.

Interment will be private.

Contributions may be made in her memory to Trinity Lutheran Church, 101 Greenwood Ave., Chestertown, MD 21620.
