Doris M. Linzey, 85

GALENA, Md. - Doris M. Linzey, 85, of Galena, died Oct. 6, 2009, in Chester River Manor, Chestertown. Mrs. Linzey was born on March 16, 1924, in Baltimore, daughter of the late Melvin and Elsie Parker Fauble. She was raised in Baltimore and had lived in Kennedyville and Oakland, returning to Galena in 2006 after the death of her husband. She was preceded by her husband of 58 years, George W. 'Bill' Linzey in 2005; a daughter, Linda Krastel in 1986; and a brother, Melvin Fauble. Mrs. Linzey is survived by a grandson, John Andrew 'Andy' Krastel, Sr. and his wife Stephanie of Lineville, Iowa; a granddaughter, Cheri K. Hill and her husband Andrew of Bristol, Va.; five great-grandchildren, John Andrew 'Drew' Krastel, Jr., Cassidy D. DeVille, William 'Billy' Krastel, Jessica L. Hill, and Carly M. Hill; and a sister, Dolores Ciesielski of Galena. Funeral services will be 11 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 10, in the Galena Funeral Home of Stephen L. Schaech, 118 W. Cross St., Galena, where friends may call one hour prior. Burial in Galena Cemetery. Memorials may be offered to Kent County Relay for Life, P.O.
