Doris M. Cohee

DOVER - Doris M. Cohee passed away Wednesday, Jan. 11, 2012, in her home surrounded by her loving family. She was 85. Doris was born on Dec. 13, 1926, in Wilmington, Del., daughter of the late Victor and Pearl (McFarlen) Mitchell. She was a secretary at Lake Forest for many years before her retirement. She was a member of the Agriculture Museum, Hospice and Camp Lenape. Doris is survived by her husband of 67 years, A. Tyson Cohee; children, William T. Cohee (Sandra) of Middletown, James A. Cohee of Bethany, Gail Cohee (Jennifer Rankin) of Cranston, R.I., Karen Hutchison (James) of Dover, and Wendy C. Dunn (Patrick) of Dover; 10 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; and special caregivers, Josephina Aidoo, and Teresa Lane. At Doris's request, services will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions to Compassionate Care Hospice, 702B Kirkwood Hwy, Wilmington, DE 19805; or Presbyterian Church of Dover, 54 S. State St., Dover, DE 19901.
