Donald William Maxwell Sr., 75

MILLSBORO - Donald William Maxwell Sr. of Millsboro passed away Monday, Sept. 10, 2007, in Beebe Medical Center, Lewes. He was 75.

He retired from Litho-Print in Wilmington, as a lithographer.

Mr. Maxwell also retired from Mountaire after 10 years as a security guard.

He was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Korean War.

Mr. Maxwell was a past commander and a life member of Joseph B. Stahl Post 30 in New Castle.

He was also a member of Sussex County 2 Amvets.

Mr. Maxwell enjoyed golfing and watching the University of Delaware football.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Helen Maxwell; a sister, Barbara Ann Woznicki and her husband Chuck of Wilmington; a daughter, Arlene Keebler of Newark; two sons, Donald W. Maxwell Jr. and Joseph B. Maxwell, both of Millsboro; three grandchildren, Michelle Kreer and her husband Jeremy, Brian Keebler and his wife Julia, and Nicole Maxwell, all of Newark; and six great-grandchildren, Justin Keebler, TJ Simpers, Jordon Banning, Jackson Kreer, Owen Kreer and Brian Keebler II.

A visitation will be 10:30 a.m. to noon Thursday in Melson Funeral Home, Long Neck Road, Millsboro.

A visitation will also be 7 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday and again from 9 to 10 a.m. Friday in Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 1000 N. DuPont Parkway, New Castle.

A graveside service will be 11 a.m. Friday at the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Bear.
