Donald Louis Peer

DOVER - Donald Louis Peer passed away Mar. 25, 2017, at his home surrounded by friends and family. He was born in Dover on Jan. 4, 1971, the son of Loretta and the late Laurence Peer.
Mr. Peer was employed with RPJ Company as a roll-off driver. He attended Dover High School and was passionate about sports. He loved Flyers Hockey, The Phillies and playing softball and football. On any given day he could be found watching Nascar or out golfing. His family said he could be relied upon at the drop of a hat and he had a big heart.
He is preceded in death by his father, Laurence; brother, Steven; paternal grandparents, Laurence and Mary Peer; maternal grandparents, Louis and Sophie Blatz; and uncle, Donald Laurence Peer.
Don is survived by his wife and best friend, Dawn; children, Madelyn Cole and Steven Peer; mother, Loretta Peer; brothers, Larry (fiancée, Ana), Alan (Laurie) and Eric (Dawn); nephews, Benjamin, Adam and Daniel; nieces, Melody, Sarah, Faith, Sophie, Mariana and Anabella; aunts, Elizabeth Kosky (Albert) and Bernice Nissen; cousins, Wendy Nissen and Victoria Ryan (Patrick).
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Apr. 5, 2017, at 12 noon at Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W. Camden-Wyoming Ave., Wyoming. Friends may call beginning at 10 am.
Memorials may be made to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
