Donald Lee Heverin, 44

SMYRNA - Donald Lee Heverin, a resident of the Delaware Hospital for the Chronically Ill in Smyrna, died on Friday, Nov. 16, 2007, in Bayhealth-Kent General Hospital, Dover. He was 44.

Donald was born Oct. 18, 1963, in Wilmington, to Robert and Diane Heverin.

He had been disabled with Huntington's Disease for 20 years.

Donald loved being outdoors, hunting and fishing; his favorite pastime was being on the John Deere mowing the lawn.

His time was best spent being with family and friends.

Donald was preceded in death by his mother, Diane Rudewicz Heverin; two brothers, Robert Lee Jr. and Ronald Lee Heverin; a sister, Deborah Ann Heverin; and his stepmother, Sylvia Heverin.

He is survived by the mother of his children, Carlea Cahall of Dover; his daughters, Zany Lee Cahall, Robin Jeanette Cahall, and Donna Ann Cahall of Dover; his father, Robert Heverin and his wife Barbara of Dover; brothers, Gary Welch Heverin and his wife Charlotte of Dover and Richard Layton Middleton and his wife Judy of Smyrna.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday in Torbert Funeral Chapel, 1145 E. Lebanon Road, Dover, where friends may call one hour prior to the funeral service.

Interment will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Camden.

Instead of flowers, contributions may be made to the Delaware Hospital for the Chronically Ill Patients Fund, 100 Sunnyside Rd., Smyrna, DE 19977.
