Donald Lee Gray Sr.

HARRINGTON - Donald Lee Gray, Sr. died Monday, Aug. 13, 2018, at the Nanticoke Memorial Hospital Center in Seaford.
Known as Donnie, he was born in Easton, Md. on Dec. 9, 1955. He was the son of the late Raymond Carroll Gray and Peggy Joyce Towers Gray. He grew up in Denton, Md. where he graduated in 1974 from North Caroline High School.
Donnie worked for forty years with the Georgia Pacific Color Box in Harrington before they closed. He was currently working for Warwick Fulfilment in Hurlock, Md. He liked to fish, go to casinos, and post everything he did on the internet. A loving husband, he loved to tease family and friends.
Donnie is survived by his wife, Terry L. Gray of Harrington; three brothers, Ronald Gray (Patty) of Greensboro, Md., David Gray (Brenda) of Denton, and Michael Gray of Federalsburg (Tina); one sister, Carol Conrad (Roland) of Greenwood; his father-in-law, William R. Sarver of Burrsville, Md.; two brothers-in-law, Tony Sarver (Sharon) of Felton and Tim Sarver (Cyndie) of Florida; a cousin, David McCormick of Lexington Park, Md.; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sons, Donald Lee Gray, Jr. in 1980 and Kevin M. Gray in 2011; and his mother-in-law, Dona Sarver.
Funeral services will be held at 1 o'clock on Saturday, August 18, 2018, at the Concord United Methodist Church located at 7112 Dion Road, Denton, Md. where friends may visit from 12 until 1 before the service. The interment will follow in the Denton Cemetery located at 24865 Meeting House Road in Denton.
Donnie had always said he wanted his funeral to be informal and for his friends and family to dress casually. The family is hoping everyone, if possible, will honor his wishes.
