Eugene Parker, 27 DOVER - De'Juan Douglas Eugene Parker born Oct. 14, 1987 in Dover. He peacefully departed this life to be with the Lord on Apr. 22, 2015. De'Juan recieved his early eduaction in the Capital School District. He is a graduate of Dover High School, class of 2005. He was a dedicated, ambitious young man who worked several jobs (KFC, Animal Hospital in Smyrna) in order to reach the level of success he tirelessly strived for. After graduation he attended Goldy Beacon College, Wilmington, where he majored in Business Administration. He later attended Massage Therapy School at the Academy of Massage Therapy and Body in Bear where he obtained his massage therapy license. Upon reciving his license, De'Juan immediately obtained employment at a local, well-known spa, "Toppers" located in Dover Downs. He utilized his training in anatomy, physiology and kinesiology to strengthen his knowledge of massage therapy. One of his biggest dreams came through when he was able to own his own independent massage therapy business. He was able to develop his own portable massage therapy business where he would render services to customers at local hair salons. His biggest accomplishment was when he wrote and submitted a proposal to Delaware State University Athletic Department with the intension of doing sports therapy with the athletes. Da'Juan was truly a family oriented person who deeply loved his family to the point he would somtimes give free massages, take his neices, nephews and cousins to the park to watch birds, trees or just listen to the ocean. He had a unique way of sharing his opinion on pretty much any conversation that he was involved in. Da'Juan leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Annaque M. Parker; father, Douglas Perry; mother, Victoria Bowden; step-father, Richard Bowden; three sisters, Shafawn, Shaquana Parker, and Jazime Perry; a very special best friend and brother, Derrick Parker; step-brother, Isiah Bowden; great-grandmother, Violetta P. Zachary; grandmothers, Juanita Parker and Susie Perry; grandfather, John Perry; and a host of aunts; uncles; cousins; and special friends.
