David Holland Heverin-Foraker, 43
FELTON - David Holland Heverin-Foraker of Felton, died Saturday, Nov. 4, 2006, in Bayhealth-Kent General Hospital, Dover. He was 43.
He was born Nov. 21, 1962, in Wilmington.
Mr. Foraker worked for Dover Post as a machine operator for 10 years before his disability.
He enjoyed fishing and playing pool. He was also a NASCAR fan, especially of Mark Martin, and enjoyed the art of conversation. He was a fan of the 49ers.
Mr. Foraker's greatest joy was spending time with family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Marlene Louise Startt.
He is survived by his wife of five years, Cheryl Ann Martin Foraker; his father, David Holland Heverin of Woodside; four stepchildren, Dorothy Tucker and Ronnie Martin, both of Felton, Michelle Foraker of Woodside and Barbara Martin of Camden; a sister, Benalee (Foraker) Murphy of Harrington; a brother, John Foraker of Woodside; a special cousin, Jay Hurd; a special friend, Bruce Haywood; 11 step grandchildren; and a step great-granddaughter.
Services will be 1 p.m. Thursday in Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W. Camden-Wyoming Ave., Wyoming, where friends may call one hour earlier. The Rev. Robert D. Appling will officiate.
Burial will be in Barratt's Chapel Cemetery, Frederica.
Instead of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to help defray funeral expenses to Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W. Camden-Wyoming Ave., Wyoming, DE 19934.
