David Armor

DOVER - David "Hot Dog" Armor went home to be with the Lord after a brief illness on Mon., Nov. 2, 2015 at Kent General Hospital. Mr. Armor was born on May 27, 1953 in Vandergrift, Pa. He is preceded in death by his mother, Della Armor; grandfather, Carl Armor; and grandmother, Vera Armor. He retired from the United States Air Force as a Staff Sgt. After the military, he worked as a crew leader for Chesapeake Utilities for 15 years. He enjoyed working in his garden, attending auctions, small engine repair, and helping others. Mr. Armor was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan and also enjoyed arcade machines. Mr. Armor is survived by his wife of 5 years, Juliette (Lamontagne) Armor of Dover; son, David A. Armor II of Minneapolis, Minn.; daughter, Nicole Lynn Armor of Cheswold; step-children, David Diehl (Naomi) of Sterling, Va. and Nicole Britt of Hickory, N.C.; grandchildren, Jalynn and Ella Diehl, and Savion and Camren Britt. Memorial services will be held on Fri., Nov. 6, 2015 at 7 p.m. at Torbert Funeral Chapel South, 1145 E. Lebanon Road (RT 10) Dover. Friends may call one hour prior to services.
