Daniel Joseph 'Dan' Ruskin, 44
DENTON, Md. - Daniel Joseph "Dan" Ruskin, of Denton, died Thursday, Feb. 7, 2008, at home. He was 44.
He was born April 5, 1963, in Washington, D.C., to Daniel and Linda (Ferri) Ruskin of Easton.
Mr. Ruskin was a graduate of the Henry Abbott Technical School of Danbury, Conn.
He married his wife, Kathleen Ann McWilliams, on April 21, 1990, and moved to the Denton area that same year.
He had worked for Wayside Auto Body as an auto body technician. He went on to work as a surveyor for Lane Engineering in Easton.
Mr. Ruskin was an avid musician, specializing the guitar and keyboard. He performed part-time in a band before moving to Denton.
He was a member of the St. Benedict/St. Elizabeth Catholic Church.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Peter Ruskin, in 1992.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife of 18 years, Kathleen Ann Ruskin; daughter, Jessica M. Ruskin of Denton; one sister, Lesley and her husband Ted Furton of Philadelphia; and brothers and sisters-in-law; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 7-9 p.m. Monday in the Fleegle and Helfenbein Funeral Home, 106 W. Sunset Ave., Greensboro.
Mass of Christian of Burial will be 11 a.m. Tuesday in the St. Benedict Catholic Church, 408 Central Ave., Ridgely, MD 21660.
Interment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Greensboro.
